2) Legal Service

All screenplays presented here must be registered for copyright protection by the writer.

European Scripts Database provides a copyright registration service. If you are in Greece, you can register your script using a Power of Attorney. Alternatively we can register your script for you with the American Writers’ Guild.

3) Screenplay Consulting and Editing

European Scripts Database provides screenplay consultation and editing services, depending on writers’ or projects’ individual needs.

1. One-off feedback
   We provide a (minimum) 5 page report on your screenplay with constructive and supportive criticism that includes identifying and analyzing story problems, character development, tone, and structural concerns. We also give you advice on how to proceed with the re-write, and offer an estimate of the projects’ marketability.


2. Long term consultation:
   Alternatively, we can work with you on several subsequent drafts (providing a full report for each) until you feel that your screenplay is ready for submission to producers, broadcasters or  agents.
   
   The cost for the initial report is: 1,5 euro/script-page for screenplays of up to 120 pages.
   
   2.00 euro/script-page for screenplays of over 120 pages.
   
   The cost for subsequent reports is:
   
   1.00 euro/script page for the second, 0.70 euro/script page for the third and forth, and 0.50 euros for all subsequent reports after that, for all screenplays.
